Heliconia Foundation is the premier organization for young professionals working together to promote increased youth participation in decision making and to secure a progressive agenda through issue advocacy.

As the only organization of its kind in Trinidad and Tobago, Heliconia Foundation serves as many leaders introduction to national politics.

• Heliconia Foundation is run by its membership, answers to its membership and is the place to help jumpstart involvement in party politics.
• With access to national decision makers, engagement with MPs, aldermen and councilors, party officials, and a membership comprised of current leaders and future leaders of the PNM, Heliconia Foundation is one of the key driving forces for the new politics.
• Heliconia Foundation serves as training ground, think tank and activism incubator for young people looking to make real progressive change in their communities and in our country.

How to Join

Heliconia Foundation is composed of young professionals defined in its constitution as an individual who has earned an undergraduate degree or an equivalent academic qualification and has a minimum of two years working experience or an individual who has attained a minimum of five years working experience in one specific field.
