Jenine Mitchell-Benjamin

Jenine Mitchell Benjamin holds a B.Sc. in Management Studies and an MSc. in Management Studies (Human Resource Management) from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Greenwich and is currently employed as an Operations Manager at a Tertiary Level Academic Institution. Jenine is also a wife, mother, part-time lecturer and has functioned as the Secretary of the Tertiary Sport Association of Trinidad and Tobago for the past 5 years.

As a founding member of the Heliconia Foundation for Young Professionals, Jenine has served in the capacity of Interim VP Finance in the 2012-2014 term, and was subsequently elected as Secretary for the period 2014-2016. As such, Jenine shares the vision of the Foundation to “establish a strong network of young progressive thinkers committed to the advancement of Trinidad and Tobago.”

Jenine will bring to the post of VP Marketing, ten years of practical experience as she plans to achieve increased visibility for the Foundation and ensure that its philosophy and policies are well known and accepted as the Foundation seeks to bolster its position as the voice of the young professional in our Trinidad and Tobago.
