Osei Roach Benn

With over a decade of experience in the banking industry, Osei Benn currently holds the position of Manager, Channel Analytics, at a major local commercial bank. His portfolio requires the development of enhanced management reporting and value-added commentary on trends, emerging scenarios, and issues impacting product and delivery channel performance.

Osei graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and also holds a Master of Business Administration, specialization in Finance from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. He is happily married and enjoys spending time with his family and his new found passion for gardening.

Osei joined the Heliconia Foundation in 2014 and has since served in various capacities which include the Policy, Finance and Projects and Events Committees. He joined the Board of Heliconia as VP Membership in 2016 where he was able to rejuvenate the Membership Committee, transforming it from a stagnant state to one of the most vibrant and high performing committees in the organisation. After the resignation of President in 2017, he became interim President by vote of the majority of the Executive and was then confirmed via a by-election of the Heliconia Membership.

As an active member of Heliconia for the past 6 years and President for the last 3 years, it is evident that Osei cares deeply for the organisation and for improving it from strength to strength, guided by the key pillars of Politics, Policy and Philanthropy.
